Create a book

I saw these over on the Bluelines blog and had all types of ideas. These blank board books are perfect for all types of projects. Let me share a few...

#1 You could uses these to make wonderful childrens books. You can incorporate little ones in the creation of the story and cut out your own pictures.
#2 You can use these little books to be the basis of a baby shower design. Incorporate the party theme and create a lovely little story that can lead up to the shower invite on the last page.
#3 You can use them as an activity at a birthday party allowing kids to make their own story creation to share with their parents.
#4 You could use them for a party centerpiece for a children's birthday party. I would think the book could feature the number of the year the child is.

There are plenty of ideas and these are just a few to get you started. This is such a great weekend craft everyone can enjoy.

What a great and sweet way to send a thoughtful note of thanks, love or just to say hi. I love these patisserie cards who doesn't need a good macaroon recipe?

Connect the Dots

This calendar would be a wonderful gift for kids and adults. You can choose to create the calendar image for each month or do them all at once. Of course we're a couple of months late but is this one of those instances where its better late than never?

Great Gift Idea

I think these stylish recipe boxes by Jack and Lulu are perfect, what I love even more are the creative ways you can make this stylish gift become a wonderful keepsake with these ideas:

If you're hosting a bridal shower send one of the cards from the recipe box to all the guest and ask everyone to share their favorite recipe. You can collect those cards during the shower then package and give them to the bride to be. She will have a multitude of recipes to try and all of them filled with love.

Another idea is to change the categories to things you love like "desserts" "cocktails" "dinner parties" "great impressions" "brunch/breakfast" and ask friends to share their best recipes for each of these sections like if your aunt's favorite dish to serve to her mother in law. Even if you're not hosting a party send them to friends and family and delight in what comes back to you in the mail. *This idea would be perfect for a housewarming too just insert the cards into the invites and collect them at the party and you have a complete box of recipes for future dinner parties and more.

Memory

While it was the Maharam fabric designs that drew me in, the combination of these great designs used for the classic game Memory. I remember getting this game when I was younger and loved it. Why not test your memory {or boost it} with this fun game and simple way to past time.

Good on Paper

A girl can't live off paper alone, which is why today I thought I'd post about things that would look great on paper. I saw these great bag designs by Kailo Chic and thought... these would look great on a note card. While I love all of these bags, the patterns would be great on paper too don't you think? Here are some of my favorite.

The Pink Dot Tote and The Nutmeg Tote

The Mocca and Red Kelo Small Clutch

This is something I definitely need the Laptop Sleeve in The Mod Dot and Red Hexagon
