The Art of the Party

I've been playing with the idea of having a birthday party for myself this year, and before thinking about food, the guest list or even what music to play, I first thought about the theme of my party. When planning a party a theme gives you focus so that everything for your party matches back to the theme. Party themes can range from your favorite colors to a Hawaiian luau. Whatever theme you pick it is the theme that will help you select the invitations, music, food, decorations and party favors. For me, I'm thinking about an 80s themed party.
